Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and secure enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high network availability, optimize performance, and support business-critical IT operations through effective network administration and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Administration
Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
Install, configure, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
Ensure network reliability, scalability, and performance.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor network performance and availability using diagnostic and monitoring tools.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues promptly.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Security & Compliance
Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices.
Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
Ensure network infrastructure is protected against security threats and vulnerabilities.
Maintenance & Support
Conduct system upgrades, firmware updates, patch management, and backups.
Provide technical support for network-related incidents and service requests.
Collaborate with internal IT teams to support business applications and infrastructure.
Documentation
Maintain network diagrams, configuration documents, and operational procedures.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with emerging networking technologies, security trends, and industry best practices.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of:
TCP/IP
DNS
DHCP
Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba networking devices.
Experience configuring and managing:
Firewalls
VPNs
Load Balancers
Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as:
Wireshark
SolarWinds
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Networking certifications such as:
CCNA
CCNP
CompTIA Network+
Experience with cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of:
VoIP
SD-WAN
Virtualization Technologies
Familiarity with ITIL or Agile methodologies.
