Job Summary
Interarch Buildings is seeking an experienced Project Planning Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control activities for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across India. The role involves managing project schedules, resource planning, contractor coordination, project controls, cost monitoring, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project execution within defined timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain multi-level project schedules aligned with client requirements.
Prepare detailed project plans covering the complete project scope within specified timelines.
Utilize planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel for project scheduling and monitoring.
Develop project controls plans, procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
Resource Planning & Management
Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and project resources based on project requirements.
Calculate optimal resource utilization and ensure adequate resources are available at project sites.
Monitor deployment of skilled manpower and equipment mobilization.
Project Monitoring & Control
Track project progress against approved schedules.
Analyze planned versus actual performance and identify deviations.
Highlight risks, delays, and bottlenecks proactively.
Monitor Critical Path Method (CPM) networks and critical activities concerning time, cost, and quality.
Contract & Commercial Management
Monitor budgets against Purchase Orders (POs) and subcontract agreements.
Verify subcontractor and erector bills as per agreed payment terms.
Support contract revisions, change orders, claims, and additional work agreements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Procurement & Material Tracking
Monitor material delivery schedules and procurement status through SAP.
Track bought-out materials and coordinate with project stakeholders to avoid execution delays.
Ensure material availability aligns with project schedules.
Stakeholder Coordination
Participate in project kick-off meetings and ongoing coordination meetings with EPC contractors.
Conduct project review meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Facilitate video conferences and progress review discussions with stakeholders.
Coordinate with various departments and manufacturing plants for project execution.
Construction Planning & Execution Support
Prepare and review erection methodologies.
Evaluate subcontractor and erector planning and resource schedules.
Ensure effective utilization of resources to optimize time and cost performance.
Conduct site visits and interact with consultants and customers.
Project Lifecycle Management
Conduct:

Job Handover and Closure Meetings
Support project execution from planning through commissioning and closure.
Vendor & Contractor Development
Identify and develop experienced erectors and subcontractors.
Evaluate contractor performance and capability for future projects.
