Job Summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Group Supervisor with expertise in Data Centre projects. The ideal candidate will lead mechanical engineering activities, supervise multidisciplinary engineering teams, and support large-scale global infrastructure projects from conceptual design through detailed engineering execution.

The role requires deep technical expertise in HVAC systems, thermal management, CFD simulations, cooling technologies, sustainability optimization, and international compliance standards for mission-critical facilities such as data centers.

Experience Required

15+ Years

Educational Qualification

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise mechanical engineering activities for data centre projects
Review and ensure quality of mechanical engineering deliverables
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams
Manage project schedules, costs, and team deliverables
Handle performance evaluation and development of team members
Coordinate with global offices and execute work in workshare mode
Review:
PFDs
P&IDs
MSDs
Datasheets
Support project proposals and engineering activities
Coordinate technical discussions with multidisciplinary teams
Develop standard engineering documentation and procedures
Capture and implement lessons learned
Travel to supplier works, construction sites, and engineering offices as required
