Role Overview

Simeio is hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in:

Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Kubernetes
Jenkins
Infrastructure automation
CI/CD pipelines

The role involves designing scalable deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure, managing containerized deployments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline release management and branching strategies.

Candidates with IAM (Identity & Access Management) ticketing/support background are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Automation
Collaborate with:
Developers
Consultants
Operational teams
Support DevOps adoption and automation initiatives
Design and improve automated delivery pipelines
Contribute to DevOps best practices and modular processes
CI/CD & Release Management
Manage:
CI/CD pipelines
Pre-release and post-release code merges
Code branching strategies
Automate installation and maintenance of:
Build tools
Dependencies
Infrastructure & Monitoring
Monitor infrastructure and operational activities
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Address escalations and bug fixes
Maintain and update wiki/documentation for knowledge sharing
Cloud & Infrastructure as Code
Create and maintain Terraform code
Automate IAM infrastructure and COTS application deployments across:
On-Prem environments
Google Cloud
Microsoft Azure
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong experience with:
Jenkins
Ansible
Puppet
GitHub
Kubernetes
AWS
Infrastructure-as-Code experience using:
Terraform
Scripting/programming knowledge in:
Python
Perl
Bash
PowerShell
Java
DevOps & System Knowledge
Experience in:
IT system support
Application maintenance
Infrastructure design
Knowledge of:

Server/application architecture
Security and data protection
Strong troubleshooting and testing capabilities
Mandatory Requirement
