Role Overview

Sonata Software is hiring an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps practices, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud-native deployments.

This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation and platform engineering initiatives within a globally recognized IT organization.

Key Responsibilities
Azure DevOps & CI/CD
Create and manage CI/CD pipelines
Implement release strategies and deployment automation
Integrate repositories using:
GitHub
Azure Repos
Maintain deployment workflows and pipeline optimization
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Configure and manage AKS clusters
Handle:
Scaling
Monitoring
Deployment of containerized applications
Ensure performance and reliability of Kubernetes environments
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Develop and maintain ARM Templates
Automate provisioning and management of Azure resources
Write and maintain YAML-based pipeline and configuration files
Cloud & Development Support
Work with Azure services including:
Cosmos DB
Azure Data Lake
Collaborate with development teams
Support application deployment and cloud operations
Apply knowledge of C# where required
Required Skills
Strong experience in:
Azure DevOps
AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
ARM Templates
YAML scripting
Knowledge of:
CI/CD pipelines
Infrastructure-as-Code
Containerized deployments
Familiarity with:
Cosmos DB
Azure Data Lake
GitHub workflows
Basic to intermediate knowledge in C#
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
