Job Overview

Hiring for an Orthopedic Medical Coder with experience in coding musculoskeletal procedures and orthopedic surgical cases.

Experience Required
1.5 to 4 years in Medical Coding (Orthopedic specialty preferred)
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of:
ICD-10-CM
CPT
HCPCS coding systems
Familiarity with orthopedic terminology, procedures, and anatomy
Understanding of:
2021 E&M Guidelines (MDM & time-based coding)
Payer guidelines
NCCI edits
Good analytical and communication skills
High accuracy and attention to detail
Certification
Certification is not mandatory
