Medical Coder – SolvEdge (E&M Coding Specialist)
Position Overview

SolvEdge is hiring experienced Medical Coders to handle Evaluation & Management (E&M) coding for both Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) records.

Key Responsibilities
Review E&M documentation for IP & OP cases
Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes
Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II guidelines
Maintain productivity and accuracy benchmarks
Work with QA, auditors, and training teams to improve coding quality
Escalate unclear or incomplete documentation to physicians
Stay updated with coding and billing regulations
Support team members with coding-related issues
Required Skills & Experience
1–3 years of hands-on experience in E&M coding (IP & OP)
Strong knowledge of:
ICD-10-CM
CPT
HCPCS Level II
Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance guidelines
Certification preferred (CPC / CCS / COC or equivalent – AAPC/AHIMA)
Good knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with EMR/EHR systems (preferred)
