Job Summary

The Electrical Shift Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems and automation equipment. The role includes maintaining CNC, VMC, HMC, PLC, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), while ensuring maximum equipment uptime and safe plant operations.

Educational Qualification
B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
OR
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE)
OR
ITI (Electrical)
Experience
7–15 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the automation or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
Maintain plant electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
Automation Equipment Maintenance
Maintain and troubleshoot:
CNC Machines
VMC Machines
HMC Machines
PLC-controlled systems
Special Purpose Machines (SPMs)
Power Systems
Maintain and monitor:
HT (High Tension) systems
LT (Low Tension) systems
Transformers
Electric Motors
Generators
Troubleshooting
Diagnose machine breakdowns.
Identify root causes of electrical failures.
Ensure quick restoration of equipment.
Safety & Compliance
Follow electrical safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with company and statutory safety standards.
Maintain maintenance records and reports.
