Job Summary

The Solar Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The candidate should possess practical knowledge of electrical systems and ensure safe, efficient, and quality installation of solar power projects.

Key Responsibilities
Install and commission solar PV systems as per project specifications.
Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, inverter installation, and panel mounting.
Conduct site inspections and assess installation requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and system-related issues.
Perform testing and commissioning of completed solar installations.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and customers during installation.
Prepare installation reports and maintain project documentation.
Carry out preventive maintenance and servicing of installed systems.
Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in solar PV installation or related electrical installation work.
Required Skills
Knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Understanding of electrical wiring and power distribution.
Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Installation and commissioning of inverters and solar panels.
Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
Familiarity with electrical safety regulations.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Preferred Candidate
Hands-on experience in rooftop solar installation.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
