Job Summary

The Catheter Care Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring catheterization. The role includes assessing patients before surgical procedures, assisting with catheter-related care, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Assist patients requiring urinary or other catheter care.
Assess patients to determine their fitness for surgical procedures.
Prepare patients for surgery as directed by physicians.
Monitor patient health and report any changes.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Educate patients and caregivers on catheter care and hygiene.
Follow infection prevention and hospital safety protocols.
Collaborate with doctors and the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
