Job Summary
Mulya Technologies is looking for an experienced SoC Architect with strong expertise in secure computing and hardware security architecture to help define and architect next-generation AI inference SoCs.
The role focuses on building secure I/O and compute subsystems for virtualized, multi-tenant AI accelerator platforms, ensuring robust security from power-on through runtime operations.
You will work on advanced security architecture involving:
Root of Trust (RoT)
Secure boot
Firmware authentication
Key lifecycle management
Memory encryption
Secure virtualization
Hardware/software co-design
This role involves close collaboration with firmware, verification, system software, and hardware teams to implement highly secure SoC platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Secure SoC Architecture
Define and architect secure boot flows and authentication frameworks for PCIe-based AI accelerator cards.
Design Root of Trust (RoT) frameworks and chain-of-trust mechanisms between RISC-V cores.
Architect secure compute and I/O subsystems for AI inference platforms.
Security Feature Development
Design and integrate:
Secure firmware upgrade mechanisms
Key lifecycle management systems
Memory encryption support for LPDDR/HBM
Secure debug/test interfaces
Encryption engines and key managers
Security monitors and threat detection mechanisms
Verification & Threat Modeling
Define and develop verification plans for SoC secure subsystems.
Conduct:
Threat vector modeling
Security validation
Vulnerability analysis
Support UVM/SystemVerilog-based security verification methodologies.
Hardware & Software Collaboration
Collaborate with firmware and system software teams for secure HW/SW co-design.
Ensure security integration across firmware, hardware, and virtualization layers.
Standards & Compliance
Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices including:
NIST
FIPS
PSA Certified
Silicon Bring-Up & Validation
Participate in silicon bring-up and validation of secure features and secure boot infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
Education
BS/MS/Ph.D. in:
Electrical Engineering
Computer Science
Related field
Experience
10–25+ years of SoC or secure hardware architecture experience.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in:
Hardware security architecture
Trusted execution environments (TEE)
Secure memory systems
Secure boot flows
Key provisioning
Secure debug/test interfaces
Experience with:
PCIe Gen 4/5
SR-IOV
Secure virtualization mechanisms
RISC-V SoCs
SoC-level security integration
Preferred Skills
Experience with:
SystemVerilog
UVM verification methodologies
Preferred Expertise
Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an advantage:
