About the Role

SystemsPlus is looking for an experienced Technical Architect – SFCC to lead the architecture, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) eCommerce solutions.

The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in defining architectural standards, engineering best practices, and scalable commerce solutions that deliver secure, high-performing, and seamless digital shopping experiences.

This role requires strong expertise in SFCC architecture, headless commerce, integrations, DevOps collaboration, and enterprise-grade digital commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities
SFCC Architecture & Solution Design
Lead the architectural design of enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions using:
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
SFRA
Headless Commerce principles
Translate complex business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
Define architecture standards and reusable commerce frameworks.
SFCC Development & Customization
Define and enforce best practices for:
Cartridge development
Controller logic
ISML templates
Business Manager configurations
SFCC customizations
Guide modular and composable commerce implementations.
Integrations & APIs
Oversee integrations with:
Payment gateways
ERP systems
OMS
PIM platforms
Marketing automation tools
Personalization platforms
Implement integrations using:
REST APIs
GraphQL
OCAPI
SCAPI
Headless & Front-End Architecture
Drive decoupled architecture initiatives using:
React
Next.js
Angular
Headless commerce frameworks
Enable scalable omnichannel commerce experiences.
DevOps & Performance Engineering
Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams for:
CI/CD pipelines
Deployment automation
Monitoring strategies
Environment management
Monitor:
Site performance
Reliability
Uptime
Transaction flows
Lead root cause analysis and optimization initiatives.
Security & Compliance
Partner with QA and Security teams to ensure:
PCI-DSS compliance
Secure development lifecycle
Performance testing
Scalability validation
Technical Leadership
Mentor engineering teams and conduct:
Code reviews
Architecture reviews
Technical assessments
Ensure adherence to engineering standards and architectural guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
12+ years of software development experience.
Minimum 3+ years of experience architecting solutions on:
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware)
SFCC Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with:
SFRA
ISML
OCAPI
SCAPI
Custom cartridge development
Commerce Architecture
Expertise in:
Headless commerce architecture
Composable commerce
Enterprise eCommerce ecosystems
Front-End & APIs
Experience with:
