Job Summary

The QA/QC Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that electrical panels, switchgear, and related products meet quality standards, customer specifications, and international electrical standards. The role involves inspections, documentation, vendor coordination, quality audits, testing, and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect ongoing electrical panel design and manufacturing activities.
Verify incoming raw materials, bought-out components, and finished products.
Conduct quality inspections during production and assembly.
Raise inspection requests with vendors and third-party inspection agencies.
Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documentation.
Develop and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Review vendor quality documents and inspection reports.
Coordinate with third-party manufacturers regarding production and quality documentation.
Monitor quality deviations and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Review and approve quality-related change controls and vendor complaints.
Visit manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE, ASTM, and other applicable standards.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality system.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
Certifications in ISO 9001:2015 or QA/QC Electrical are an added advantage.
Experience
Experience in QA/QC within:
Electrical panel manufacturing
Switchgear industry
Power distribution equipment
EPC projects
Experience with vendor audits and third-party inspection agencies (TPIA).
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
Electrical panels

Transformers
Protection systems
Experience with:
QA/QC documentation
Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
SOP preparation
FAT/SAT
NCR documentation
Understanding of manufacturing processes:
