Job Title: TIG Welder
Employment Type: Full-Time, Regular / Permanent
Location: Salem (Near Old Bus Stand), Tamil Nadu

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in TIG welding, be capable of producing high-quality welds, and possess a strong understanding of fabrication processes while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on metal components as per engineering drawings and production requirements.
Prepare materials by cutting, cleaning, grinding, and aligning components before welding.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
Set up and operate TIG welding machines and related equipment.
Inspect completed welds for strength, accuracy, and quality.
Perform grinding, polishing, and finishing of welded components where required.
Ensure proper selection of welding materials, filler rods, and shielding gases.
Conduct routine maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
Follow workplace safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Work closely with production and quality teams to achieve production targets.
Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Welding, Mechanical, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Prior experience in TIG Welding is required.
