Role Overview

YMN Design Studio is looking for a skilled Sr. Architectural Designer to join its design and build team specializing in commercial interiors. The role involves contributing creatively to architectural and interior projects while mentoring and overseeing junior designers in both 2D and 3D design work.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize and develop architectural designs for interior and build projects.

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, presentations, and 3D visualizations.

Guide and review the work of junior designers on 2D drawings and 3D models.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and design quality across deliverables.

Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors for smooth project execution.

Conduct site visits and resolve design-related challenges during construction.

Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Mentor junior designers and provide technical and design guidance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

3–4 years of experience in architecture or interior projects.

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.

Basic knowledge of SketchUp and Photoshop.

Good understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and oversee junior designers.

Excellent communication and project coordination skills.

Strong design and problem-solving abilities.
