Salary: Up to ₹34,000 per month
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Railway Infrastructure Project in Tamil Nadu. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting site execution, supervising construction activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and coordinating with contractors and project teams to achieve project milestones within the scheduled timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in supervising and executing railway construction activities at the project site.
Monitor construction progress and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering practices, and safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, material consumption records, and manpower deployment reports.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site supervisors for smooth project execution.
Support material planning, quantity estimation, and resource management.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues for timely resolution.
Participate in site meetings and provide project status updates to senior engineers and project managers.
Verify completed work and maintain project documentation.
Assist in implementing corrective actions to maintain project quality and schedule.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
Candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction plans.
Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction standards.
Basic understanding of quantity estimation and material planning.
Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in railway, road, bridge, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Willingness to work full-time at the project site in Vijayamangalam/Uthukuli.
Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
