Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sustainability Engineer to support our UAE operations by integrating sustainable engineering practices into landscape and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, environmental impact assessments, sustainability reporting, renewable energy systems, and regulatory coordination. Preference will be given to candidates with UAE experience.

Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Engineering
Develop and implement sustainable engineering solutions throughout project planning, design, and execution.
Integrate ESG principles into engineering and landscape projects.
Recommend sustainable design strategies to improve environmental performance.
Support green infrastructure and resource-efficient project development.
Environmental Assessment
Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for proposed projects.
Identify environmental risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Evaluate project compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
Assist in environmental planning and impact mitigation initiatives.
ESG & Sustainability Reporting
Prepare sustainability reports using recognized reporting frameworks such as:
GRI (Global Reporting Initiative)
SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board)
Monitor and report sustainability performance metrics.
Support ESG compliance, documentation, and reporting requirements.
Maintain sustainability records and performance data.
Renewable Energy & Green Practices
Evaluate and recommend renewable energy systems for project implementation.
Support energy-efficient design initiatives.
Promote low-carbon and environmentally responsible engineering practices.
Assist in reducing environmental impacts through sustainable technologies.
Landscape Sustainability
Integrate sustainability principles into landscape engineering projects.
Optimize land use and natural resource management.
Support sustainable landscape planning and development.
Coordinate sustainability initiatives for landscape-related projects.
Data Collection & Compliance
Collect and analyze environmental and sustainability-related data.
Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory agencies.
Prepare reports and documentation required for approvals.
Ensure compliance with ESG standards and local environmental regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with architects, engineers, landscape designers, and project managers.
Provide sustainability guidance during project development.
Participate in design reviews and sustainability planning meetings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Environmental Engineering
Civil Engineering
Landscape Engineering
Sustainability Engineering
Environmental Science
Related Engineering Discipline
Experience
4–6 years of relevant experience in sustainability engineering.
UAE project experience is preferred.
