Position Details
1. Trainee Engineer-I
No. of Positions: 308
Maximum Age: 25 years as on 01.08.2021
Experience: Freshers eligible
Contract Period: 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on project requirement and performance
Remuneration:
1st Year: ₹25,000/month
2nd Year: ₹28,000/month
3rd Year: ₹31,000/month
2. Project Engineer-I
No. of Positions: 203
Maximum Age: 28 years as on 01.08.2021
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience
Contract Period: 2 years, extendable up to 4 years based on project requirement and performance
Remuneration:
1st Year: ₹35,000/month
2nd Year: ₹40,000/month
3rd Year: ₹45,000/month
4th Year: ₹50,000/month
Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess a 4-year full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in any of the following disciplines:

Electronics Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Telecommunication Engineering
Communication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Minimum Class:

General / OBC / EWS: First Class
SC / ST / PwD: Pass Class
Experience

Trainee Engineer-I:

Fresh engineering graduates are eligible.
Candidates must have completed all requirements for the Engineering Degree.
Candidates with backlogs or who are still pursuing the degree are not eligible.

Project Engineer-I:

Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience.
Teaching/research experience will not be considered.
Relevant experience must be supported by appropriate documents.
Key Responsibilities
Support engineering activities related to BEL’s defence electronics projects.
Work on projects involving:
EVM production
Export manufacturing
Military radar systems
Military communication systems
Assist in engineering, production, testing, maintenance and project-related activities according to the assigned SBU.
Support technical documentation, testing and validation activities.
Coordinate with engineering, production and project teams.
Follow BEL’s quality, safety and process requirements.
Undertake project-related assignments at Bengaluru or other locations as required.
Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

BE/B.Tech aggregate marks – 75%
Relevant work experience – 10%
Interview – 15%

Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews in a 1:5 ratio based on merit.

Reservation

Reservation is applicable as per Government of India norms.

PwD: 4% reservation
Age relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwD: 10 years in addition to applicable category relaxation
Documents Required

Candidates are required to submit/upload:

10th Standard marks card
B.E./B.Tech degree certificate
All semester/consolidated marks cards
Caste/community certificate, where applicable
PwD/EWS certificate, where applicable
Relevant work experience certificates for Project Engineer candidates
Current employment documents, where applicable
No Objection Certificate (NOC), if employed in a PSU/Government organization
Additional Benefits

Selected candidates must have medical insurance coverage of ₹2 lakh per annum.

An additional consolidated amount of ₹10,000 per year is provided towards expenses such as:
