Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Service Engineer to provide technical support for electroplating and surface finishing chemical processes at customer locations. The role involves process installation, optimization, troubleshooting, customer training, and technical consultation to ensure efficient process performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Process Support
Install and commission electroplating and surface finishing chemical processes at customer sites.
Monitor process parameters and optimize process performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot process-related issues.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve process stability.
Customer Support
Provide technical support during process implementation and routine operations.
Train customers on process operation, chemical handling, and best practices.
Respond promptly to customer technical queries and resolve operational issues.
Build strong customer relationships through regular technical visits.
Process Improvement
Conduct periodic process reviews and recommend improvements.
Optimize chemical consumption, plating quality, and production efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for customer operations.
Trials & Demonstrations
Plan and execute product trials and process demonstrations.
Evaluate trial results and prepare technical reports.
Assist customers in qualifying new products and technologies.
Business Intelligence
Monitor customer requirements and market trends.
Gather information on competitor products and technologies.
Identify opportunities for new business and product applications.
Share technical market insights with internal sales and product teams.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare technical service reports and customer visit reports.
Maintain records of process performance and troubleshooting activities.
Ensure timely documentation of customer feedback and technical observations.
Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech (Relevant Discipline) or
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry
Experience
1–5 years of relevant experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
