Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer – IT Service Management to manage enterprise IT infrastructure, including server administration, networking, and IT service operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows/Linux administration, networking technologies, virtualization, and ITIL-based service management to ensure high availability, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management
Manage and support enterprise Windows and Linux server environments.
Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of IT infrastructure.
Perform routine system administration, maintenance, and upgrades.
Support end-to-end IT infrastructure operations.
Server Administration
Administer Windows Server and Linux environments.
Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft 365 (O365).
Perform user account management and access control.
Handle server patching, upgrades, and system hardening.
Networking
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot:
LAN/WAN networks
TCP/IP
VPN
Firewalls
Network Switches
Routers
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
Maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure.
IT Service Management
Manage incidents, changes, and problems following ITIL best practices.
Ensure timely resolution of service requests and escalated issues.
Improve service availability and operational efficiency.
Participate in service improvement initiatives.
Monitoring & Performance Management
Monitor infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring tools.
Analyze server and network performance.
Troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks and service outages.
Ensure proactive monitoring of critical systems.
Backup, Disaster Recovery & Compliance
Perform backup and recovery operations.
Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Ensure infrastructure compliance with organizational policies.
Maintain system security and operational standards.
Documentation & Reporting
Create and maintain:
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Infrastructure documentation
Incident reports
Change records
Operational reports
Keep documentation updated for audit and compliance purposes.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and application support teams.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Participate in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
Support cross-functional IT initiatives.
