Job Summary

The role involves product design and development for Value Engineering (VAVE), New Product Development (NPD), and Quality & Reliability projects. The engineer will lead structural design activities while ensuring Quality, Delivery, and Cost (QDC) objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead product design and development activities.
Handle structural engineering projects involving:
Structural analysis
Strength of Materials (SOM)
Hand calculations
Perform:
Concept generation
Design & development
Planning
Testing
Support Advanced Engineering activities including FEA and CFD.
Conduct:
Risk assessment
Prototype development
Pilot production
Design reviews
Design verification
Product validation
Pre-production and product launch
Work closely with global SMEs during product development.
Solve complex engineering problems using structured methodologies.
Independently execute VAVE projects from scope to closure.
Drive:
Should-cost analysis
Product teardowns
Idea generation workshops
