Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and record vital signs.
Draw blood samples for laboratory testing and analysis.
Perform and monitor ECG procedures accurately.
Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and assist during emergency situations.
Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes to the medical team.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health management practices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Manage inventory and availability of medical supplies and equipment.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
Participate in community health awareness and outreach initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Educational Qualification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing)
Professional Requirements
Valid Nursing License/Registration as applicable.
Experience in blood collection and ECG procedures.
Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation practices.
Familiarity with hospital management systems and computer applications.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an added advantage.
