Job Summary

Pearson is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer – System Integrations to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions between platforms such as Workday and Credly. This role combines full-stack application development with API integration, enabling seamless credentialing workflows, automation, and secure platform connectivity.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in front-end and back-end development, RESTful APIs, authentication protocols, middleware development, and enterprise system integrations.

Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
Design and develop end-to-end full-stack applications supporting enterprise integrations.
Build secure, scalable, and reusable web applications.
Develop user-facing interfaces, administrative dashboards, and monitoring tools.
Implement responsive front-end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks.
System Integration
Develop integrations between enterprise platforms such as:
Workday (HRIS/LMS)
Credly (Digital Credentialing Platform)
Build middleware and microservices for:
Data transformation
Validation
Integration orchestration
Automate credential issuance workflows.
API Development
Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and web services.
Work with:
REST APIs
Webhooks

Ensure secure API communication and authentication.
Authentication & Security
Implement authentication and authorization using:
OAuth 2.0
SAML
API Key Authentication
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data privacy standards.
Technical Design & Documentation
Analyze integration requirements.
Create technical architecture and solution designs.
Maintain documentation for:
APIs
System architecture
Integration flows
Data mapping
Technical specifications
Collaboration
Partner with:
HR Teams
IT Teams
Learning & Development Teams
External Vendors
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Support & Maintenance
Troubleshoot integration failures and synchronization issues.
Resolve credential issuance and platform connectivity problems.
Monitor platform enhancements and update integrations accordingly.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of full-stack software development experience.
Experience working in enterprise application environments.
Strong understanding of system integration architecture.
