Job Description

Calpion Software is looking for experienced and certified Medical Coders specializing in Surgery and Orthopedic Coding. This is a great opportunity for professionals with strong coding and compliance knowledge to grow their careers.

Key Responsibilities
Review and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for Surgery and Orthopedic procedures
Ensure compliance with AAPC, AHIMA, and payer guidelines
Analyze medical records and provider documentation for coding accuracy
Coordinate with healthcare providers and auditors to resolve discrepancies
Stay updated on coding regulations and industry standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1+ years of experience in Surgery and Orthopedic coding
Certifications required:
CPC
CCS
Or equivalent certification
Strong knowledge of:
ICD-10
CPT
HCPCS
Medical terminology
Familiarity with reimbursement policies and compliance regulations
