Job Summary

Design Cafe is hiring a Senior Interior Designer with strong experience in residential and modular interior projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent design skills, client-handling experience, and the ability to independently manage projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and understand client requirements and preferences through regular meetings and discussions.

Develop sketches, drawings, floor plans, and design concepts using CAD software and hand-drawing techniques.

Create idea boards to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.

Apply strong design principles and creative thinking to residential interior projects.

Handle clients and manage interior projects independently.

Develop high-quality designs while meeting client expectations and project requirements.

Required Experience

3–5 years of experience as an Interior Designer.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential interior projects.

Modular residential interior experience is mandatory.

Experience in independently handling clients and projects.

Strong portfolio demonstrating previous interior design work.

Educational Qualification

Diploma in Interior Designing – 2/3 years, or

B.Arch / Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

Registered Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required.

Technical Skills

AutoCAD

Google SketchUp

Microsoft Office

Computer-aided design and drafting

Key Competencies

Strong understanding of interior design principles.

Excellent creative ability, imagination, and eye for design.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Ability to communicate complex design concepts clearly and effectively.

Strong client-handling and project-management skills.
