About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server Administration, and Scripting (PowerShell/Python). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, securing, and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Azure Infrastructure Administration
Provision, configure, and manage Azure IaaS services including Compute, Storage, and Networking.
Administer Azure PaaS services and ensure optimal utilization.
Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and cost optimization initiatives.
Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), VNet Peering, NSGs, VPNs, DNS, IP management, and networking components.
Identity & Access Management
Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/AAD).
Configure Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies.
Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and access controls.
Manage Azure Policies and governance frameworks.
Monitoring & Security
Configure and maintain:
Azure Monitor
Log Analytics
Azure Advisor
Key Vault
Application Gateway
Load Balancer
Traffic Manager
Scale Sets
Track infrastructure performance, security, health, and compliance.
Implement security best practices across Azure environments.
Windows Server Administration
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly.
Configure and manage Windows services.
Perform fault analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Diagnose memory, filesystem, and server-related issues.
Automation & Scripting
Automate repetitive operational tasks using:
PowerShell
Python
Azure Functions
Develop and maintain automation scripts and runbooks.
Manage and customize Azure ARM Templates.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Configure and manage Azure native backup solutions.
Perform backup monitoring and recovery operations.
Support Azure Site Recovery (ASR) implementations (preferred).
Documentation & Operations
Create and maintain:
Technical documentation
SOPs
Runbooks
Knowledge Base articles
Work with ServiceNow for incident, change, and request management.
Support deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
