Role Summary
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development professional to acquire new clients and grow revenue in the recruitment and staffing services domain. The role involves selling end-to-end workforce solutions including permanent hiring, contract staffing, HTD programs, and managed services to enterprise and mid-market clients.
This is a client-facing, target-driven role requiring strong relationship-building skills and consultative selling expertise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition & Sales
Identify and acquire new clients for recruitment and staffing services.
Sell solutions including:
Permanent Hiring
Contract Staffing
Hire–Train–Deploy (HTD)
Managed Services
Generate leads via:
LinkedIn & Sales Navigator
Cold calling & email outreach
Networking events & referrals
2. Client Relationship Management
Conduct meetings (virtual and in-person) with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, and business leaders.
Understand hiring needs and propose customized workforce solutions.
Build and maintain long-term strategic client relationships.
3. Business Development & Revenue Growth
Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
Close deals and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
4. Coordination & Delivery Support
Work closely with internal recruitment delivery teams.
Ensure smooth execution of hiring mandates and client satisfaction.
Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams.
5. CRM & Reporting
Maintain CRM hygiene and update sales pipeline regularly.
Track leads, opportunities, and conversions.
Provide weekly sales performance reports.
Required Skills & Experience
2–8 years of experience in:
Recruitment agencies
Staffing companies
HR consulting firms
IT services / outsourcing companies
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and talent acquisition models
Proven track record in:
Lead generation
Client acquisition
Deal closures
Experience selling to:
Mid-size companies
Enterprise clients
GCCs (Global Capability Centers)
Key Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Consultative and solution-based selling approach
Ability to manage long sales cycles
Proficiency in:
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
CRM tools

Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
