Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development professional with expertise in logistics and supply chain solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and SCM solutions.
The role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand customer supply chain challenges and propose customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and generate new business opportunities in Supply Chain Management solutions.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across industries such as:
Retail
E-commerce
Manufacturing
Engineering
Pharma
Chemicals
Life Sciences
FMCG
Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term business partnerships.
Client Relationship Management
Understand client supply chain requirements and propose customized logistics solutions.
Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
Ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery coordination with operations teams.
Maintain strong customer engagement and satisfaction.
Market Research & Reporting
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities.
Maintain and update CRM systems with sales activities and pipeline status.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development updates.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless execution.
Coordinate internally for proposal creation, pricing, and solution design.
Required Qualifications
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in:
