Quality Control Officer – Thoothukudi
Location: Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Chemistry or related field
Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000/month
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Shift: Day / Morning shift

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality-control procedures.
Inspect raw materials, in-process production and finished products.
Conduct testing, analysis, inspections and audits.
Maintain quality records, test results and inspection reports.
Investigate defects and perform root-cause analysis.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement.
Prepare quality-performance reports for management.
Train employees on quality standards and procedures.
Coordinate with production, R&D, suppliers and other stakeholders on quality issues.

Required Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations.
Familiarity with QC tools and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to commute to or relocate to Tuticorin/Thoothukudi before joining.
