Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Support Engineer with strong Windows Server Administration and Python scripting expertise to join our Lab Operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and automating virtual lab environments used by technical training participants worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows infrastructure management, VMware virtualization, and Python-based automation while providing operational support for remote training environments.

Key Responsibilities
Windows System Administration
Provision, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022).
Troubleshoot issues related to Active Directory, Group Policy, RDP, and Windows networking.
Support Windows-based services and applications used in training labs.
Configure and maintain access controls, firewall rules, and networking components.
Provide operational support for trainers and students accessing remote lab environments.
Assist with Linux VM administration (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS) as required.
VMware Administration
Manage VMware ESXi and vCenter environments.
Create, clone, snapshot, and restore virtual machines.
Monitor virtualization infrastructure performance and availability.
Troubleshoot virtualization-related issues.
Python Development & Automation
Develop and maintain Python scripts for:
Automated lab provisioning and decommissioning.
Monitoring and health checks.
Resource scheduling and allocation.
Reporting and operational automation.
Integrate automation solutions with APIs, scheduling platforms, VMware environments, and databases.
Maintain internal tools and operational dashboards.
Technical Support
Support remote access platforms such as:
Guacamole
VPN
RDP Gateways
SSH
Troubleshoot live lab issues and ensure uninterrupted training delivery.
Document support procedures, scripts, and operational processes.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory Skills
3+ years of strong Python coding and scripting experience.
Strong experience in Windows Server Administration.
Advanced VMware Virtualization experience.
Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows networking.
Experience supporting enterprise-level virtual environments.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
