Job Summary

SECON is seeking experienced and certified Drone Pilots and Team Leaders to support land survey and geospatial data capture projects. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in drone operations, aerial surveying, DGCA compliance, data processing, and survey project execution. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art drone technologies on large-scale infrastructure, mapping, and land survey projects.

Drone Pilot
Key Responsibilities
Drone Operations
Evaluate and recommend the latest drone technologies for land survey data capture.
Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure safe and efficient drone operation.
Analyze weather conditions and forecasts before flight missions.
Plan and execute drone flight missions according to project requirements.
Navigate drones along designated flight paths and survey routes.
Monitor drone performance throughout flight operations.
Survey Data Collection
Capture aerial imagery, survey data, and geospatial information.
Ensure accurate and complete collection of survey datasets.
Maintain compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to DGCA regulations and Government of India drone policies.
Maintain pre-flight and post-flight logs and documentation.
Follow operational safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Equipment Management
Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
Monitor drone performance and recommend upgrades or replacements.
Ensure operational readiness of all drone systems and accessories.
Data Processing & Analysis
Perform pre-processing and post-processing of drone survey data.
Support CAD compilation and mapping activities.
Validate survey outputs and coordinate with project teams for data delivery.
Team Leadership (For Team Leader/Project Lead Roles)
Lead survey teams during field operations.
Coordinate project activities and resource allocation.
Ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
Mentor and guide drone pilots and survey personnel.
Experience Requirements
Team Leader / Project Lead
Minimum 3 completed drone survey projects.
Proven experience managing drone-based land survey operations.
Drone Pilot
Certified Drone Pilot with relevant operational licenses.
50–100 flight hours of practical drone flying experience.
Experience in drone data capture for land survey projects.
Educational Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering
Master’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Science, or related discipline preferred
