Job Summary
Sekhar Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in high-rise building construction and structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project planning, execution, resource management, quality control, and project monitoring while ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Experience Required
10 to 16 Years of Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager in High-Rise Building Construction
Strong structural construction background preferred
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil)
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Study project drawings, tender documents, and technical specifications.
Plan, organize, and administer construction projects as per approved designs and contractual requirements.
Develop project execution strategies and implementation plans.
Resource Management
Forecast manpower, machinery, material, and equipment requirements.
Ensure optimum utilization of resources throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and vendors.
Project Monitoring & Control
Monitor project progress against planned schedules.
Track actual versus planned performance and identify deviations.
Recommend and implement corrective actions to mitigate project risks and delays.
Quality & Compliance Management
Ensure adherence to construction quality standards and specifications.
Implement project quality control measures and best practices.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Cost Optimization
Monitor material consumption and reduce construction wastage.
Support cost-control initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
Review project expenditures and identify opportunities for savings.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead project teams and site personnel effectively.
Coach and mentor team members to enhance capabilities and performance.
Develop a strong succession pipeline and encourage continuous learning.
Foster teamwork, accountability, and high-performance culture.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and management teams.
Provide project status updates and progress reports.
Ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders.
