Job Summary
Meghraj Food Processing India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Junior Executive – Production to support daily manufacturing operations in a food processing environment. The role involves executing production plans, maintaining product quality, ensuring food safety compliance, managing manpower, and coordinating with quality, packing, logistics, and dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
Execute daily production plans and achieve production targets efficiently.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, raw materials, and production resources.
Maintain production quality at every stage of manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with production schedules and timely dispatch of finished goods.
Collect raw materials from stores based on production requirements.
Production Planning & Coordination
Coordinate production activities based on market demand and purchase orders.
Maintain Semi-Finished Goods (SFG) minimum stock levels.
Coordinate with packing, logistics, and dispatch departments for timely order fulfillment.
Ensure availability of packing materials before starting production.
Quality & Food Safety
Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, OPRP, and CCP requirements.
Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
Send finished product samples to the Quality Control department for analysis.
Ensure product identification, traceability, labeling, and documentation.
MAP Room Operations
Maintain hygiene standards for personnel, equipment, and work areas.
Ensure proper Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) operations.
Monitor nitrogen (N₂) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) cylinder availability.
Coordinate finished goods dispatch according to customer requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily production reports and manpower utilization reports.
Record production, packing, and dispatch activities.
Prepare and submit reports to the Production Manager.
Maintain production records as per company standards.
Team Management
Supervise production staff and allocate daily work.
Train employees on food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
Ensure discipline and teamwork on the production floor.
Equipment & Maintenance
Monitor production equipment for smooth functioning.
Perform basic troubleshooting where required.
Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance and repairs.
Required Skills
Knowledge of food production processes.
Understanding of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, CCP, and OPRP.
Production planning and process control.
Manpower handling and supervision.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Basic documentation and reporting skills.
Knowledge of inventory and logistics coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of production experience in the food industry.
Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing practices is an advantage.
