Job Summary

SEG Automotive is seeking an experienced First Line Manager (FLM) to lead production operations within its manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the automotive industry, experience managing production shifts, shop-floor teams, and production processes, along with knowledge of SAP Production and IATF quality systems.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management
Supervise daily production activities.
Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
Monitor productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
Optimize utilization of manpower and resources.
Shift Management
Lead and manage production shifts.
Ensure smooth shift handovers.
Monitor shift performance and resolve operational issues.
Team Leadership
Manage shop-floor operators and production staff.
Allocate work and monitor employee performance.
Coach and motivate team members.
Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies.
Quality Management
Ensure compliance with IATF Quality Management System requirements.
Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions.
Support internal and external quality audits.
SAP Production
Utilize the SAP Production Module for:
Production execution
Material tracking
Production reporting
Inventory coordination
Safety & Continuous Improvement
Maintain workplace safety standards.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) – Mechanical Engineering
Experience
5–8 years of experience as a First Line Manager (FLM) or equivalent production leadership role.
Experience in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry is mandatory.
