Job Description

We are hiring an experienced PHP Lead for a leading MNC client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications using PHP frameworks and modern web technologies, while also leading technical discussions and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Yii, CodeIgniter).
Build and manage RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration with frontend and backend systems.
Work with relational databases such as MySQL and MariaDB for efficient data handling.
Implement MVC architecture and follow best practices in software design and OOP concepts.
Collaborate with frontend developers using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery (or VueJS/PugJS).
Handle deployment of PHP applications to production environments.
Manage version control using Git (GitHub/GitLab).
Work with Docker for containerized application deployment (preferred).
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
Guide and mentor team members as a technical lead.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in PHP and frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter
Experience with MySQL / relational databases (MariaDB preferred)
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Expertise in RESTful APIs and MVC architecture
Good understanding of OOP concepts and web development principles
Experience with Version Control (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
Familiarity with Docker (preferred)
Strong communication and client handling skills
