Position: Lab Support Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 5+ Years
Industry: Semiconductor / Embedded Engineering

Educational Qualification:

Engineering Degree / Diploma in:
Computer Science
Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Communication

Preferred Experience & Skills:

5+ years of technical experience in the semiconductor industry
Experience supporting hardware projects and working with multiple engineering teams
End-to-end understanding of platform lifecycle
Experience with board build/fabrication through contract manufacturers
Knowledge of platform BOM and related logistics
Strong planning, coordination and follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
Comfortable working with global teams across Asia and North America
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint & MS Project
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate engineering part requests and internal orders
Follow up with functional teams and Board Operations
Track orders, shipments and delivery timelines
Provide regular shipment and status updates
Manage allocation of orders upon delivery
Track end-of-life components and coordinate replacements
Conduct lead-time and EOL analysis with vendors and operations teams
Ensure embedded hardware is available to stakeholders on time
