Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lab Support Engineer to support engineering operations within the Embedded Business Unit. The role focuses on planning, logistics, hardware platform management, and coordinating embedded system engineering programs to ensure timely product delivery and efficient hardware availability.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with Board Operations (BOPS) to add Agile Part Numbers (PN) in the SMS system.
Create product offerings in the internal portal based on Program Manager requests.
Follow up with multiple engineering teams to ensure orders are submitted on time.
Consolidate hardware requirements and submit orders through internal systems.
Inform engineering teams about End-of-Life (EOL) components and coordinate replacements.
Work with Board Operations to finalize and baseline orders.
Track order status and provide regular shipment and ETA updates.
Allocate hardware to stakeholders upon delivery.
Conduct quarterly lead-time and End-of-Life analysis with vendors and Board Operations.
Collaborate with Platform Engineering to mitigate supply chain risks.
Preferred Experience
5+ years of experience in the semiconductor or embedded systems industry.
Experience supporting hardware development projects across multiple engineering teams.
Good understanding of the complete platform lifecycle.
Experience managing board fabrication and contract manufacturing activities.
Knowledge of Platform Bill of Materials (BOM) management and logistics.
Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
Ability to work with global teams across Asia and North America.
