Job Summary

We are seeking a Lab Support Engineer to support engineering operations within the Embedded Business Unit. The role involves planning, logistics, hardware tracking, board lifecycle management, and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure embedded platforms and hardware are delivered on schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor or embedded hardware environments and possess strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Operations & Logistics
Coordinate planning and logistics for embedded hardware platforms and systems.
Ensure timely availability and delivery of embedded hardware to stakeholders.
Track engineering deliverables and maintain project timelines.
Order & Inventory Management
Follow up with Board Operations (BOPS) to add Agile Part Numbers (PN) in SMS.
Create product offerings in the internal portal based on Program Manager requests.
Consolidate requests from multiple teams and submit orders through internal systems.
Allocate orders upon delivery.
Vendor & Board Operations Coordination
Work closely with Board Operations to baseline orders.
Track order status and estimated delivery timelines (ETA).
Monitor shipments and provide weekly status updates.
Coordinate with vendors and contract manufacturers regarding board fabrication and builds.
Product Lifecycle Management
Conduct quarterly lead-time and End-of-Life (EOL) analysis for embedded products.
Inform engineering teams about obsolete components and coordinate replacement activities.
Support platform lifecycle management and mitigation planning.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, program management, and manufacturing teams.
Support multiple engineering functions throughout the hardware development lifecycle.
Ensure deadlines are met across global teams.
Qualification
Engineering Degree or Diploma in:
Computer Science
Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of industry experience.
Technical experience in the semiconductor or embedded systems industry.
