Mechanical Fitter – Bengaluru

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Overview

We are looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters with strong technical knowledge and hands-on assembly experience. The candidate will be responsible for fitting and assembling mechanical components such as shafts, gearboxes, blower fans, motor housings, and stainless steel/mild steel body structures.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble and fit mechanical systems and components including:
Gearboxes
Shafts
Blower fans
Control panels
SS & MS body structures
Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings and layout diagrams.
Ensure proper alignment, tightening, and tolerance adjustments.
Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and finishing work during assembly.
Test assembled components and support inspection activities.
Identify fitting issues and perform corrections or adjustments.
Maintain tools, equipment, workplace cleanliness, and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Fitter Trade Certification (Mandatory)
Minimum 2+ years of mechanical fitting or assembly experience
Good understanding of:
Mechanical components
Tolerances
Alignment techniques
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
Experience using power tools and workshop machinery
Experience with Stainless Steel and Mild Steel fabrication is an added advantage
Candidate Requirements
Strong practical assembly skills
Attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
