Job Overview

Zavasi is looking for an IT Support Engineer with at least one year of experience in desktop support, network infrastructure, and IT hardware management. The candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining desktop operating systems, network devices, servers, security solutions, and backup systems. The role also involves field support, so candidates must have a two-wheeler.

Key Responsibilities

1. Desktop Support

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and macOS desktop operating systems.

Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.

2. Network and Infrastructure Support

Install, monitor, and manage Layer 3 (L3) switches.

Support server installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.

Install and troubleshoot Wi-Fi equipment and connectivity issues.

Configure and maintain firewall devices and related infrastructure.

3. Hardware and Endpoint Security

Install and maintain IT hardware and peripherals.

Monitor and support endpoint security solutions.

Troubleshoot hardware and security-related issues.

4. Ticketing and Backup Management

Use IT ticketing tools to record, track, and resolve technical issues.

Monitor and manage backup systems.

Maintain accurate records of support activities and issue resolutions.

5. Field Support

Provide on-site technical support when required.

Travel to customer locations to troubleshoot desktop, hardware, network, and infrastructure issues.

Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve technical problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of relevant IT support experience.

Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.

Experience installing and configuring desktop applications.

Familiarity with L3 switches, servers, Wi-Fi, and firewall devices.

Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and endpoint security.

Familiarity with IT ticketing tools and backup systems.

Willingness to provide field support.

Must possess a two-wheeler for field-related duties.
