Job Summary – Engineers / Checkers (Structural Steel)

Position: Engineers / Checkers
Company: Sanria Engineering
Location: Mysore / Bangalore, Karnataka
Experience: 2–10 Years
Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Salary: As per industry standards

Key Responsibilities
Read and analyze structural steel contract drawings.
Identify and document mismatched or missing drawing information.
Prepare engineering input documents.
Check structural steel fabrication and erection drawings.
Correct and update drawings using Trimble Tekla Structures (3D).
Ensure compliance with AISC, BS, and BIS standards.
Review structural steel member details and fabrication requirements.
Identify fabrication and erection issues and recommend practical solutions.
Coordinate with engineering and detailing teams.
Complete assigned work within project schedules.
Required Skills
Experience in the Structural Steel Industry.
Strong knowledge of:
Structural steel fabrication and erection drawings.
Trimble Tekla Structures.
AISC, BS, and BIS standards.
Structural steel sections and detailing practices.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
2–10 years of relevant experience in structural steel detailing/checking.
Familiarity with fabrication and erection processes.
Detail-oriented with strong technical knowledge.
