About the Opportunity

Arup is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from engineering professionals to join its Building Engineering Teams. The role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects focused on sustainable building services and the transition to net-zero carbon.

Engineers will contribute to the design and delivery of large-scale commercial, healthcare, airport, higher education, data centre, and high-rise building projects in collaboration with leading architects and developers.

Key Responsibilities
Design building services for new and existing developments.
Deliver projects from feasibility through detailed design.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Prepare technical designs and engineering calculations.
Develop technical and commercial proposals for clients.
Participate in client meetings and technical workshops.
Support sustainable and energy-efficient building solutions.
Travel internationally (e.g., UAE, KSA) for project coordination when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Structural Engineering
Civil Engineering
Geotechnical Engineering
Or a related discipline
Willingness to pursue professional accreditation is desirable.

Technical Skills
Building Services Design
BIM environment using Revit
Electrical/Mechanical design software
Knowledge of:
Amtech (preferred)
Dialux (preferred)
Experience
Building services design from feasibility to detailed design.
Experience in engineering design consultancy.
Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Background in sectors such as:
Healthcare
