Job Description

Construction Engineer – Hospital & Diagnostic Centre Projects
Role: Construction Engineer
Industry: Hospital / Diagnostic Centre Construction
Experience: 0–3 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field
Salary: Up to ₹4 lakh/month, depending on experience and deliverables
Employment: Full-time
Site Requirement: Willingness to visit construction sites outside business hours when required

Key Responsibilities

Contribute technical expertise to project drawings and designs.
Plan project stages, resource allocation, budgets, and work schedules.
Perform cost calculations and prepare financial projections.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Oversee construction engineering activities and site execution.
Conduct material and procedure tests to ensure regulatory compliance.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain detailed construction records, logs, and documentation.
Provide project progress updates to clients and senior management.
Analyze designs and provide technical recommendations.
Supervise team members and coordinate work schedules.
Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety guidelines, and regulations.
Identify project discrepancies, risks, and potential delays.
Negotiate project contract terms and review legal requirements.

Construction / Civil Engineering knowledge
Project & Construction Management
Cost estimation and budgeting
Technical drawing and design interpretation
3D/design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, BuildSmart, Smartsheet, TinkerCAD, or BlocksCAD
Construction/project management software
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Leadership and team-management abilities
Decision-making and problem-solving skills
Good communication and organizational skills
Time-management skills

Preferred

Experience delivering hospital and diagnostic centre projects is an added advantage.
