Job Title: Network Engineer (On-Role)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Network Engineer with experience in fiber network installation and field operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of fiber optic networking, router configuration, and customer installations. This role involves both network installation and customer interaction, making technical expertise and communication skills equally important.

Key Responsibilities
Network Installation & Maintenance
Install, configure, and maintain fiber optic network connections.
Perform fiber splicing and cable crimping activities.
Configure and troubleshoot routers and networking devices.
Carry out internal wiring and customer premises installations.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
Ensure high-quality installation and adherence to company standards.
Customer Support & Field Operations
Coordinate with customers during installation and service visits.
Provide basic technical guidance and support to customers.
Attend field service requests and resolve network-related issues promptly.
Maintain excellent customer service during all interactions.
Sales & Business Support
Support sales activities during field visits where required.
Promote company services and assist in customer acquisition.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain installation reports and service records.
Update job status and customer information accurately.
Report technical issues and project progress to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
Diploma in a relevant discipline (Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field).
Experience
6 months to 1 year of experience in:
Fiber Network Installation
Network Field Operations
Sales & Network Installation
Mandatory Skills

Candidates should be able to communicate in:

Kannada (Mandatory)

Additional Requirements
Must own a two-wheeler (Bike).
Valid Driving License is mandatory.
Willingness to travel within Bangalore for field assignments.
Salary & Benefits
Net Take-Home Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
Petrol Allowance: ₹140 per day

Experience in ISP or Fiber Broadband installation.
