Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager – Builder Sales to drive specification sales and project business for Tranquil products through architects, builders, PMCs, contractors, interior designers, and consultants.

The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Builder Sales, Project Sales, and Specification Sales within industries such as building materials, laminates, plywood, acoustics, construction products, or related sectors.

This role demands strong relationship-building skills, project tracking expertise, and the ability to convert specifications into successful sales closures.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Data Generation
Identify and generate new business opportunities through:
Builders
Architects
Interior Designers
PMCs
Contractors
Consultants
Build and maintain a comprehensive database of industry contacts.
Update customer and project information regularly in CRM systems.
Develop strong professional networks across the construction and design ecosystem.
2. Specification Sales & Client Engagement
Meet key decision-makers (KDMs) for product specifications in BOQs.
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions.
Submit samples, mockups, technical documents, and test reports for approvals.
Identify projects and ensure Tranquil products are specified in project requirements.
Develop long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
3. Project Sales & Order Closure
Track project progress and conduct site visits when necessary.
Collect BOQs, RFQs, and project requirements.
Coordinate with internal sales teams for quotation submissions.
Handle negotiations with clients and contractors.
Ensure successful order closure aligned with company policies.
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely supply and installation.
4. CRM Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate project records and visit updates in CRM systems.
Update project pipelines and sales reports on daily and weekly basis.
Generate MIS reports and performance updates as required.
5. Team Mentoring & Leadership
Mentor and guide team members to improve performance.
Support team capability development and career growth.
Encourage a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
