📌 About the Role

SAP is expanding its ABAP Infrastructure Platforms team and is looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer. You’ll work with global teams across India, the USA, and Germany to support enterprise-scale ABAP Cloud systems and ensure high availability, performance, and operational excellence.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Monitor ABAP Cloud systems for performance, availability, and health
Handle incident management using defined processes and runbooks
Support root cause analysis and issue resolution with senior engineers
Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle tasks
Assist in tenant provisioning/deprovisioning and recovery
Maintain operational documentation
Contribute to automation scripts and tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployments & operations
Participate in shift rotations (including US shift) for 24×7 support
✅ Requirements
2–4 years experience in DevOps / Cloud / Operations
Strong understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management
Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Jenkins
Familiarity with tools like Grafana
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Understanding of containerization concepts
Willingness to learn SAP BTP ABAP Environment
Good communication & teamwork skills
