Job Summary

K K Balusamy & Co is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Executive to coordinate production and procurement activities within the textile manufacturing process. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of textile products, sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, and production coordination while ensuring smooth operations across manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination
Coordinate daily production activities across textile and manufacturing units.
Ensure smooth workflow between production, purchase, warehouse, and suppliers.
Monitor production schedules and support timely execution.
Procurement & Vendor Management
Research and identify potential vendors.
Source gray fabrics, yarn, and other textile products.
Compare supplier quotations and evaluate vendor offers.
Negotiate pricing and procurement terms with suppliers.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Textile Sourcing
Source gray fabrics and yarn based on production requirements.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of yarn counts and gray fabric specifications.
Ensure purchased materials meet quality requirements.
Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels.
Raise purchase orders as required.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel for proper storage and inventory control.
Quality Assurance
Review the quality of purchased materials.
Coordinate with vendors regarding quality concerns.
Ensure purchased products comply with company standards.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of:
Purchased products
Supplier information
Delivery schedules
Invoices
Prepare purchase reports and cost analysis.
Maintain procurement documentation.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology (Preferred)
Candidates with relevant textile industry experience may also apply.
