Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Engineer to oversee day-to-day production operations in a heavy fabrication manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in production monitoring, manpower handling, fabrication processes, and engineering drawing interpretation. The role involves ensuring efficient production of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, static equipment, and water treatment plant components while maintaining quality, safety, and production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise daily production activities.
Plan and coordinate production schedules to achieve delivery targets.
Supervise and manage shop-floor manpower effectively.
Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
Execute production activities according to work instructions and approved drawings.
Coordinate with fabrication, welding, machining, and quality teams.
Monitor fabrication of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, static equipment, and water treatment plant components.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing specifications.
Track production progress and resolve shop-floor issues.
Maintain production records and prepare daily production reports.
Coordinate with planning and procurement teams to ensure material availability.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
Required Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in heavy fabrication or manufacturing environments is preferred.
