Civil Engineer / Civil Site Engineer – Building Construction
Company: Construction company based in Erode, Tamil Nadu
Designation: Civil Engineer / Civil Site Engineer / Civil Engineer Fresher
Experience: Freshers to 3 years; 1 year building construction experience preferred
Qualification: Diploma or Engineering Graduate in Civil Engineering
Location: Project sites across Tamil Nadu & Kerala — Chennai, Hosur, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kollam and Trivandrum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Work Mode: In-person / Site-based
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000/month; salary not a constraint for suitable experienced candidates

Key Responsibilities

Supervise assigned building construction activities.
Provide work clearance to skilled and semi-skilled workers.
Prepare task-level micro plans and coordinate with the Project Manager.
Take ownership of assigned construction activities and ensure timely completion.
Minimize material/work wastage.
Monitor and report daily work progress.
Maintain the Daily Site Register.
Ensure a safe and secure workplace.
Coordinate effectively with workers and department engineers.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project execution.

MS Office knowledge.
AutoCAD and Total Station experience is an advantage.
Safety course certification is an added advantage.

Important Requirement

Must be willing to relocate and stay at project site camps at different locations in Tamil Nadu/Kerala.
Male candidates are invited according to the posting.
Government building projects range from approximately ₹10 crore to ₹50 crore.
