Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement automation systems for water treatment projects.
Develop and integrate SCADA, PLC, HMI, and instrumentation systems.
Program, test, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC/HMI systems.
Perform internal SFAT for automation programs.
Develop control strategies and automation architectures.
Commission PLC systems on-site alongside electrical commissioning engineers.
Implement controlled code changes and troubleshoot automation issues.
Provide technical support to process and other engineering teams.
Prepare automation documentation, SOPs, and project specifications.
Support tendering teams with hardware specifications and programming estimates.
Manage automation project development, installation, validation, budget, and guidelines.

Required Skills

Strong PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming/troubleshooting.
Experience with programmable logic controllers and vision systems.
Automation system design and commissioning experience.
Knowledge of automation standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
